Fascias & Soffits Installation Guide

Step 1

Full replacement fascia board fitted to the end of the timber joists. Fascias should be double nailed in to each roof joist, soffits can be fitted in to an edge trim as shown, there is no need for any backing timber with this type of fascia.

Step 2

UPVC cover fascia board installed over the existing timber, fascias should be double nailed at 600mm centres. It's best to keep the nails up above the centre of the fascia board so the guttering system will cover them.
